Lady Luck
The original Triple Luck emblem design is made in pure sterling silver and coated in either Karatclad* gold or in Rhodium. The tradition of the horseshoe as a lucky symbol is rooted in a number of mythologies. The horseshoe is said to resemble the crescent moon, which invokes the luck and protection of Diana, the goddess of the hunt. Also most horseshoes have seven holes for nails, and thus are a lucky seven. Horseshoes are made of iron, which was said to keep away fairy folk. It is believed that the devil cannot walk past a horseshoe or he will be sucked into the arch.
*Karatclad is a trademark pending process, which layers the jewelry in 14 times the thickness required by US law for gold plated jewelry. Read more about the Karatclad process here.
